HARDNESS TESTING (HT)
Hardness testing (HT)allows for a minimally invasive, non-impactful assessment of material hardness without affecting the material’s state. This is an important parameter indicating the degree of its resistance to permanent deformation. This type of analysis allows you to quickly determine the homogeneity of the material and the correctness of the technological processes of heat and plastic treatment.
Hardness testing using the UCI method involves comparing the oscillation frequency of the measuring probe indenter when it is in the air with the frequency when pressed into the material under a given load.
