VISUAL TESTING VT
VT visual testing is the basic method of non-destructive testing, which is always performed first before applying subsequent testing methods. It involves checking with the naked eye or using optical instruments or additional electronic devices (e.g. borescopes , videoscopes ) whether there are any discrepancies on the tested surface, such as: cracks, lack of penetration, undercuts, overflows, etc.
The NAFTO S.A. Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory is accredited to the PN EN ISO 17637:2017-02 standard related to visual testing issued by the Polish Center for Accreditation
