HEAT TREATMENT
Heat treatment is a technological process aimed at changing the mechanical properties of alloys in the solid state by causing structural changes that depend mainly on temperature and time.
Annealing is one of the types of heat treatment that involves heating the material to a specific temperature, maintaining it for a specific time and then cooling it at a specific speed in order to maintain a state of equilibrium in the material.
Properly performed annealing reduces residual stresses and microstructural changes resulting from the welding process.
The laboratory has appropriate equipment necessary to perform heat treatment at the company’s headquarters and at the client’s facilities. We have machines from companies such as: LMS, Weldotherm , Sokoltherm.
