PHASED ARRAY ULTRASONIC TESTING (PAUT)
Ultrasonic testing using the Phased technique Array involves generating an ultrasonic beam using multi-transducer heads, in which each element is individually controlled. This gives us the ability to generate multiple ultrasonic beams, which allows us to visualize the indications and then dimension them.
Compared to typical UT tests, in PAUT tests we have an electronic record that is archived by us. It allows you to check the correctness of the assessment at any time, just like in the case of RT tests.
The laboratory uses high-class equipment for testing: Olympus Omniscan X3, HSTM- Flex Scanner, Cobra Scanner
The NAFTO Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory is accredited to the PN EN ISO 13588:2019-04 standard related to ultrasonic testing using the Phased technique Array issued by the Polish Center for Accreditation.
