MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING (MT)
Magnetic powder testing uses the phenomenon of magnetic field dispersion occurring around discontinuities, thus enabling the detection of surface and subsurface inconsistencies in the tested object. Materials that can be tested using the magnetic-particle method must have ferromagnetic properties.
The laboratory uses high-class equipment from companies such as MR Chemie and LIST-MAGNETIK GmbH.
The NAFTO Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory is accredited to the PN EN ISO 17638:2017-01 and PN EN ISO 9934-1:2017-02 standards related to magnetic-particle testing issued by the Polish Center for Accreditation
